KULAK reserve

Przyroda
KULAK reserve - a protected area with an area of over 47 ha, on the border of the LGD and at the same time the Lublin Voivodeship (Stoczek Łukowski commune) and the Masovian Voivodeship (Wodynie commune), established to protect various ecosystems, including wetlands (presence of ponds). It belongs to the Łuków Protected Landscape Area. Due to the diverse geological structure and relief of the terrain, conditions have been created for the development of various plant communities, including: a peat bog with long-leafed sundew, or an extremely rare complex of blunt pondweed. Here you can find partially or fully protected: white waterlily, broad-leaved helleborine, listera ovata, sundews: long-leaf and round-leaf, lily of the valley in May, alpine currant, common centuria and buckthorn. It is a partial reserve and easily accessible, located just off road No. 803. In addition to a camera, it is a good idea to take water-resistant footwear with you on a trip to the reserve.
