The Piarist monastery complex from the 18th century with a late Baroque collegiate church - the former Piarist monastery complex (currently the seat of the parish of the Transfiguration of the Lord) is a monumental baroque building complex in the city, consisting of the church of St. The Transfiguration of the Lord (designed by Antoni Solari, architect of King Augustus III) and the former monastery, built in 1725–1762, and the college building from 1819. The church preserves furnishings from the 18th century. The Piarists were brought to Łuków on the initiative of the Łuków nobility, and the Piarist school in Łuków was one of the first to introduce teaching in accordance with the regulations of the National Education Commission and presented a high level of teaching.
